The aforesaid exchange rate is a 0.31-percent, or an AMD 1.29, drop from the previous trading session on Monday. This devaluation could be a result of seasonal factors that are linked to the greater sale of agricultural products, and this in turn causes an additional demand for the Armenian national currency.
Tuesday’s sales totaled $1.73 million at the stock exchange.
At the cash foreign currency market of Armenia, the American national currency’s buying exchange rate fell all the way to AMD 413-414/$1 and its selling exchange rate, to AMD 416.5/$1.
