YEREVAN. – Armavia air company has not applied to court to file for bankruptcy, head of civil aviation department at the Armenian government Artyom Movsisyan told reporters.

“I personally addressed the company. They said the papers are being prepared. What papers and why so long? The answers are unclear,” he said.

He noted that the company is not discussing any plan of rehabilitation, although the project was approved during the session of the Public Council and was presented to the government.

Armavia stopped its operations and declared bankruptcy as of April 1.
