The OSCE Minsk Group failed to bring the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Serzh Sargsyan and Ilham Aliyev, to the negotiating table, a diplomatic source said.

A diplomatic source from one of the Minsk Group delegations told ITAR TASS that the regular round of talks planned for June 12 in Salzburg will not take place. According to the forecasts, it will be possible to speak about a meeting no earlier than at the end of summer, or early fall, the agency reported.

In their recent statement, the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs said they discussed with presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan the need for a summit later this year.

On Thursday the office of the U.S. co-chair Ian Kelly said the parties to Karabakh conflict had agreed on holding a summit.
