Commenting on Turkish FM Ahmet Davutoglu’s statement that Armenia-Turkey Protocols can be ratified within three days, RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian said, “If such a statement was made, it means Turkey could have ratified the Protocols several months ago but did not do so.”

“Protocols were submitted to Turkish parliament last October. Not three but thirty-three times three days have passed since then. Thus, Turkey admits artificial protraction of the ratification process.” According to him, it is a breach of reached agreement between Yerevan and Ankara under Swiss mediation. “Turkey constantly voices threats to stop the initiated process. Language of threats follows language of preconditions. I do not think one can reach success not revising this stance,” Nalbandian added.
