“Armenia’s wish is to establish good-neighborly relations with all its neighbors,” RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian stated in an interview with the RA Public TV.

“It is in our interests that all the disagreements between our allies, partners and neighbors are solved. We are concerned with going forward with this approach,” the Minister said. Asked whether Armenia is ready to act as a mediator in the establishment of relations between other countries, Nalbandian said: “No need to overestimate Armenia’s potential. However, Armenia can act as an effective mediator. The talks on the opening of Upper Lars checkpoint proved this. The negotiations were held through the mediation of Armenia and today, when it is open, we can say it is a great achievement for Russia, Georgia and Armenia,” Nalbandian said.
