Presentation of a book titled “China in the eyes of Armenians” took place on July 1 in the Artists’ Union of Armenia.
The book tells about the insights and experiences of a number of prominent Armenian public figures and state officials on China.
Former Chinese Ambassador to Russia and Executive Director of Chinese Fund for International Research Lu Guchan said the book is a unique window through which it is much easier to study China.
“Armenia has a long history of interactions with China and we have many things in common. The strengthening of relations with Armenia will not only facilitate the stability and development of the region but it is of rather big significance to China,” he said in an interview with Xinhua.
China’s Ambassador to Armenia Tian Changchun and several Armenian MPs were present during the ceremony.
Later Chinese delegation headed by Lu Guchan was received by Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Manasaryan. The sides discussed relations between Armenia and China.
