Starting March 15, Turkish army bombs camps of Kurdistan Workers’ Party located in Iraq.

According to Firat news agency, Turkish armed forces had recourse to artillery and air forces.

Earlier, agency informed that Turkish armed units crossed Iraqi border and entered Kurdistan autonomous region in North Iraq, where operation against Kurdish rebels was launched. Five Turkish servicemen were killed in as a result of PKK resistance. Turkish forces were forced to draw off the border and fire at Kurdish positions from Cobra helicopters.
