YEREVAN. – Along the lines of the 2795th anniversary celebrations (PHOTOS) of Armenian capital city Yerevan, Russia Square, which is adjacent to Yerevan Municipality, turned into a festive arena on Saturday.

The start of the magnificent ceremony was sounded by the chimes of the city hall clock tower, and to the melody of the anthem “Erebuni-Yerevan.”     

The children from Yerevan’s educational and cultural institutions took part in this event. 

Within the framework of this original artistic event, the medical workers congratulated with umbrellas and wrote “My Heart’s Companion,” the motto of this year’s Yerevan Day celebrations.  

In addition, Mayor Taron Margaryan welcomed and congratulated the participants, in connection with Yerevan’s “birthday.”
