YEREVAN. – Russian President Vladimir Putin wants to restore the Russian Empire, and he considers this to be his main mission.  

Armenia’s opposition National Self-Determination Union (NSU) Chairman and ex-presidential candidate Paruyr Hayrikyan noted the aforesaid during a press conference on Tuesday. 

In his words, however, this plan poses a threat to Armenia’s sovereignty.  

“With that Armenia will lose its two-bit of freedom and orientate toward non-freedom,” Hayrikyan added.  

The NSU leader also stressed that if needed, Russia would also establish Muslim religion to create an empire and, even though Russia is now against homosexuality, in the future it could turn into a gathering place for homosexuals.
