YEREVAN. – The independence-debasing process, which is conducted under the sponsorship of the authorities, is strongly unacceptable.    

Armenia’s opposition Heritage Party Vice-Chairman Armen Martirosyan stated the aforesaid during a press conference on Wednesday. 

In his words, irrespective of the priorities of the Armenian public and political figures, they all must unite and demand the resignation of the incumbent authorities of the country.      

“Furthermore, we need to continue the processes conducted toward independence, which will enable to truly establish as a state, [and] continue our historic course as a nation,” Martirosyan noted.    

He added that, if this is brought to fruition, Armenia will achieve substantial development. 

Armen Martirosyan also expressed a conviction that Nagorno-Karabakh will not become a part of Russia, even at the latter’s the greatest wish.
