YEREVAN.  – The Siberia Airlines flight from Armenia’s capital city Yerevan to Moscow, and which was scheduled to depart from Yerevan’s Zvartnots International Airport on Saturday at 5:30am, has not yet departed due to technical reasons.

A Siberia Airlines representative told the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am, and added that there are 95 passengers in this flight.

In the representative’s words, there are suspicions that the plane has a technical problem, which the technicians are attempting to find.

“The technicians hope that the plane will fly in 2-3 hours. They actually thought that there was a technical reason, but they found nothing up to this point; that is why it is delaying.

“But a detailed inspection is being conducted. They want to be 100 percent sure that everything is okay,” explained the airlines representative.

At the same time the representative added that they are keeping their focus on the passengers.

“We have provided them with hotel [accommodation] and food,” the Siberia Airlines representative stated.
