MOSCOW. – Mayor Sergey Sobyanin of Moscow did not rule out the possibility of applying a special procedure toward the immigrants in and around the Russian capital city.

Sobyanin concluded the abovementioned while commenting on the discovery of numerous violations in the immigration law, following the recent unrest in the area.

The mayor of Moscow believes that, in principle, a visa requirement may be imposed.

Sergey Sobyanin also expressed against the full integration of the immigrants, Moskovsky Komsomolets reports.

Furthermore, he noted that the number of immigrants in Moscow should be reduced gradually, whereas the quality of their jobs should increase.

Sobyanin added, however, that there is no guarantee that such incidents will not happen again.
