YEREVAN. – According to Armenian Defense Minister’s Press Secretary Artsrun Hovhannisyan, the Azerbaijani media assertions, according to which “the Armenians are not returning the dead body of the Azerbaijani citizen that exploded on a landmine,” is the pinnacle of absurdity.   

“We do not need anyone’s corpse. We repeat: if the Azerbaijani side knows the location of the body of the dead, we stand ready to assists in its search and return,” Hovhannisyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.    

To note, while searching for their lost animals on October 6, Azerbaijani villagers Vezir Aliyev, Hagani Magheramov, and Ali Aliyev had stepped on a landmine in the neutral zone. As a result, Ali Aliyev had died and his body was left at the site of the explosion. Vezir Aliyev and Hagani Magheramov, on the other hand, had sustained injuries and were hospitalized.
