YEREVAN. – In the first half of 2013, Armenia’s economic growth has slowed due to the slowdown in the private consumption growth rates and the reduction in private investments, the Central Bank of Armenia financial report states.

At the same time, however, a growth was recorded in the inflow and outflow of private funds.

According to the Armenian National Statistical Service data, Armenia’s economic growth reduced in the first half of 2013, as compared to the same period last year, and made up 3.5 percent. This was primarily due to a decline in the construction industry and the slow growth rates in the manufacturing industry.
