YEREVAN. – The Armenian government has concerns with respect to the fulfillment of the 2014 State Budget, economist Ashot Yeghiazaryan stated during a press conference on Wednesday. 

He added that this concern is linked to Armenia’s decision to join the Customs Union.

Yeghiazaryan also did not rule out the possibility of a twofold change in the country’s foreign policy course toward association with the European Union as well as changes in the government staff.   

The expert stressed that due to its decision to join the Customs Union, Armenia is now in a state of uncertainty, a vacuum is created around the country, and the government has lost the ability to act independently.   

Ashot Yeghiazaryan finds that Armenia will feel the need for a new government that will enjoy confidence within the country and in the international platform, alike.
