YEREVAN. – Russian Embassy in Armenia is not confirming reports on alleged visit or President Putin to Armenia.

During the Thursday media conference, Embassy counsellor Andrey Ivanov said at the moment the Embassy cannot confirm reports about the visit.

He said the Russian Embassy in Armenia, just any other embassy, always prepares for the visit of a president.

“It is an important and big event for us,” he noted.

The rumors about possible visit of Russian leader have been circulated for a long time. Different terms and dates are named, but have not been officially confirmed yet.
