YEREVAN. – Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received Czech Ambassador Ivan Jestrab, who is ending his diplomatic mission in Armenia.

Sargsyan noted that Armenia underscores the broadening of relations with the Czech Republic, informs the Armenian Government press service.

“There are some areas of activity where the Czech Republic has a high-level development and a long track-record, and we are interested in deepening cooperation in those areas,” the PM noted.  

On his part, the ambassador stressed that the Czech Republic considers Armenia a friend and his country is interested in developing relations. He also thanked for the effective cooperation and the warm treatment.

The interlocutors expressed a satisfaction with the development of Armenian-Czech cooperation. They attached an importance to invigorating trade and economic ties and discovering new domains. In this context, the ambassador informed that a delegation of Czech businessmen are slated visit Armenia in a foreseeable future.             

At the end of the talk, Tigran Sargsyan thanked Ivan Jestrab for his contribution to the development of Armenian-Czech relations, and wished him success in his future endeavors.
