YEREVAN. – “Together we will carry out the holy task of border protection,” Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan stated, in the border village of Voskepar, during his working visit to Tavush Region.    

The PM attended the official opening of Voskepar’s community center, informs the Government press service.

“You live in an area where there is a daily threat and, together with our army, you are on the first front. You must rest assured that the enemy will always get such a response that it would not dare to disturb your peace. You are the heroes!” Sargsyan noted.     

Subsequently, the premier toured the community center, which has club rooms and a hall.

As a result of a year-long construction activity, the entire necessary infrastructure has been established in the building. In line with the respective project, the area of the community center was renovated and asphalted, too.   

The Detroit Armenian Women’s Club likewise provided funding for the construction of the center.  

In the City of Ijevan, the PM placed flowers to the monument to the fallen Karabakh War participants and, subsequently, he got acquainted with the restored sculptures in the city.  

In addition, Tigran Sargsyan got familiar with the start-up enterprises’ products that were introduced at the stands which were set up at the square of Ijevan.
