YEREVAN. – The founding re-establishment congress of opposition Armenian National Movement (ANM) got underway Saturday in capital city Yerevan (photo).
Before the start of the convention, ANM’s revival initiative group member Hovhannes Igityan told news reporters that the event will bring together supporters, and the representatives of several political parties were invited to the assembly.
Over 200 delegates were registered for the congress.
But the former ANM members who now have joined the opposition Armenian National Congress were not invited to the convention.
The congress agenda includes several matters.
