YEREVAN. – The maintenance costs for the legislative, executive and judicial bodies of Armenia will be increased in next year’s state budget.

Deputy Minister of Finance Pavel Safaryan stated the abovementioned during Tuesday’s National Assembly discussions devoted to the 2014 State Budget.

The increases are primarily due to the increase in salaries.

The maintenance costs of Armenia’s state agencies are calculated based on the quantity of 17,162 staff units, and this quantity increased by 37 points as compared to 2013.

The increase in the number is mainly due to the increased positions in the judicial system.
