YEREVAN. – Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan on Friday received outgoing Italy’s Ambassador to Armenia Bruno Scapini.

Minister Ohanyan highly appreciated cooperation in defense sector, in particular that referring to staff training. The sides underscored importance of possible participation of the Armenian troops in the UN peacekeeping mission in Lebanon.

Ambassador noted importance of Armenia-Italy cooperation, confirming Italy’s readiness to deepen relations with the Armenian Defense Ministry. Bruno Scapini assured that he will remain a friend of Armenia and the Armenian nation.
