Russian President Vladimir Putin is confident that expansion of Customs Union will benefit the member states and the region on the whole.
“Of course, if they [members] meet all demands of the organization,” Russian leader said during a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Moscow.
He noted that amid global instable economic situation the common Eurasian market may become one of the main sources for economic development of the three member states, RIA Novosti reported.
Putin recalled that roadmap on Armenia’s accession to the Customs Union must be presented by the time of a meeting in Moscow.
Russian leader stressed that Yerevan and Bishkek will be provided all necessary measures of support, noting that the natural balance of the interests between the Customs Union member states and the candidate countries must be preserved.
