YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 405.12/$1 in Armenia on Friday, an AMD 0.22 increase as compared with Thursday. 

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 558.82 (up by AMD 4.43), that of one Russian ruble was AMD 12.42 (up by AMD 0.02), and the rate of one British pound was AMD 667.88 (up by AMD 4.33), informs the Central Bank of Armenia.

One gram of gold, silver, and platinum amounted to AMD 15,616.87, AMD 252.68, and AMD 17,349.18, respectively.

Friday’s trading totaled USD 8,300,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 405.51/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 405.50/$1.
