According to the source, the symposium titled “1915 Within Its Pre- and Post-Historical Periods: Denial and Confrontation” will not be held after it faced “political and bureaucratic hurdles.”

The event, organized on Ankara Freedom of Thought Initiative, aimed at the improvement of dialogue between two nations. The list of participants included scholars who had to speak about Genocide recognition and reparations.
