U.S. President Barack Obama said NATO should help to strengthen Ukrainian army, Gazeta.ru reported quoting Reuters.

NATO should adopt precise commitments to provide assistance to Ukraine for modernization and strengthening of its security forces. In addition, the Alliance should help other partners, including Georgia and Moldova, he added.

Obama believes NATO's door should remain open for new members to help them resist Russia's aggression.
