YEREVAN. – Armenia can return to the agreement on Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA) with EU, economist Tatul Manaseryan believes.
The economist is convinced that in the future the standards in European and Eurasian economic areas will necessarily come closer, this is guided by WTO demands.
“Brussels' recent behavior indicates that EU is no longer inclined to draw dividing lines, but rather to seek and develop common features with counterpart in the face of the Eurasian Union. This means that Armenia may continue further integration with the European Union and may return back to discussing the issue of DCFTA,” Manasaryan told reporters on Friday.
On October 2, Armenian government approved the draft agreement on joining Eurasian Economic Union.
