YEREVAN. – Armenian parliament in the first reading approved the draft bill envisaging support to border villages with 86 votes “for” , 5 “against” and two abstentions.

Prosperous Armenia and Orinats Yerkis said they would vote for, if the package is divided by the time of the second reading.

“We want to withdrawn a bill suggesting to cancel the income tax against mortgage loans, and some other bills,” said Michael Melkumyan, member of Prosperous Armenia.

The same view was expressed by ANC representative. “We do agree with some points and disagree with others. Why are the bills lumped together?” Hrant Bagratyan said.
