YEREVAN. – There is no need to politicize the discussions on Armenia’s 2015 State Budget, Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan stated during Tuesday’s parliamentary debates on the budget draft.
He noted that it is fully understandable that the MPs of all political forces demand the approval of a budget draft that is in line with the pledges given to their voters. Nonetheless, as per the PM, no more than the funds within the budget can be spent.
“The discussions should not be politicized; it would be better to conduct a sound debate and refrain from populism.
“Let’s not forget that we are doing a common job for the country. Even though we see it from different vantage grounds, I hope that it will not impede our joint work,” Abrahamyan specifically added.
