It seems Azerbaijan has decided to reassess the relative-vassal relations with Turkey, and to start an independent life.
Azerbaijani political scientist Asim Mollazade told Moscow-based Moskovskiy Komsomolets daily that, “The independence of Azerbaijan will always be the cornerstone of its foreign policy and strategy.”
“Neither Moscow nor Washington nor Brussels nor Ankara can claim the status of Azerbaijan’s big brother.
“We [, Azerbaijan,] need partners, friends, good neighbors, but Azerbaijan will allow no one to impose its will [upon us] and teach us how to live,” Mollazade stated.
