YEREVAN. – “I don’t know whether there are prerequisites for conducting authorities-parliamentary trio political consultations, but this does not mean that I deny or confirm this information.”

Non-pro-government Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) Spokesperson and MP Tigran Urikhanyan told the abovementioned to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

He stated this while reflecting on the media reports that, in a foreseeable future, the ruling Republican Party and the “parliamentary trio”—that is, the three non-government parliamentary forces (Armenian National Congress, Prosperous Armenia, and Heritage Parties)—will announce about starting political consultations.

“We have but one agenda: to change the lifestyle of the citizens of Armenia by providing normal conditions. [But] the country’s leadership did not take our agenda seriously,” Urikhanyan noted.

Asked what the authorities should do so that the “parliamentary trio” agree to hold political consultations with them, the PAP MP laconically responded: “It must leave [from power].”
