Aix-en-Provence, France, will be the venue, on November 12, for a seminar entitled, “Art and Archaeology of Medieval Armenia and Georgia,” reported the French-Armenian Nouvelles d’Arménie magazine.
At the event, eight experts will present the results of their work and their views with respect to some promising research directions.
In addition, the importance of lithographic sources will be stressed when studying monuments, the religious architecture in Cilicia will be illustrated, and the restoration methodology will be discussed.
Furthermore, the miniature paintings, architecture, sculpture, and the art of cross-stone making in the given region will be explored.
