YEREVAN. – The MPs should not violate ethics, especially in the parliament hall.
Armenian National Assembly (NA) Speaker Galust Sahakyan announced the aforesaid during Tuesday’s NA session.
“I respect the deputies’ freedom, but the violation of the rules ethics is not permitted. This already is excessive. Stop immediately!” Sahakyan demanded.
It became clear that the Armenian parliament leader was addressing opposition Heritage Party MP Zaruhi Postanjyan, who was distributing flyers in the NA Sessions’ Hall.
The leaflets were urging the MPs to vote against the ratification of the treaty on Armenia’s accession to the Russia-led Eurasian Economic Union.
