YEREVAN. - The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 443.83/$1 in Armenia on Thursday, and this makes for an AMD-1.35 rise from Wednesday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 546.58 (up by AMD 1.13), that of one British pound was AMD 695.70 (up by AMD 3.40), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 8.34 (up by AMD 0.04), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 232.59, AMD 17,191.14, and AMD 17,451.55, respectively.

The NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange, however, saw no USD trading on Thursday.
