YEREVAN. – In 2015, the residents of Armenia’s border villages will receive the status of the next persons in line for being reimbursed the deposits of the ex-Soviet Savings Bank

The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Artem Asatryan, told the aforementioned to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

In his words, just as before, the socially-disadvantaged elderly citizens of the country will be put on the respective list in 2015, too.

And just like in 2014, a total of 1,485,000,000 Armenian drams (approx. $3,229,122) will be allocated for these reimbursements.

The ex-USSR Savings Bank deposits are reimbursed in Armenia solely to the socially-disadvantaged people, and with a specific recount scale. In practice, the respective depositors can receive between 50,000 and 250,000 drams (approx. $109-$544).
