YEREVAN. – The European Union is providing huge support for refugees and internally displaced persons as a result of the conflicts in the Middle East, head of EU delegation to Armenia Traian Hristea told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

It is not only Europe, but other institutions that are dealing with the problem.

“It is a concerted effort. And the EU really provides huge support for refugees and for those who were internally displaced or moved because of conflicts. The EU is a major financier trying to combat negative effects of the developments,” Hristea said, adding that there are many instruments that are being implemented.
