YEREVAN. – Armenia will use new methods to promote production in the markets of target countries, Deputy Economy Minister Sergey Avetisyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Under the loan agreement, he added, promising countries in terms of expansion of the Armenian export will be selected, in addition, trade consultants will be attracted in these markets.

“They will not have a status of a trade representatives. Most likely foreign experts – those who know specific features of the market – will be attracted,” Avetisyan said, adding that the target countries had not been selected yet.

As reported earlier, Armenia will receive a $50-million loan from the World Bank for trade promotion and development infrastructure. The agreement signed in August was approved by the Armenian Cabinet in late November.
