YEREVAN. – Japan's State Minister for Foreign Affairs Minoru Kiuchi will arrive in Armenia on Wednesday.
He will hold meeting with Armenia's leadership. During his trip to Armenia, a grant program providing assistance to the schools of Ararat Region will be signed on January 21, the embassy said.
Prior to Yerevan trip, the Japanese official visited Baku where he discussed implementation of the joint projects.
Diplomatic mission of Japan has been working in Armenia since January 1, but the formal opening is planned for spring during Japan Foreign Minister's visit, the diplomatic sources told Armenian News-NEWS.am. Ambassador has not been appointed yet.
