YEREVAN. – Armenian Defense Ministry named one of the soldiers wounded in the direction of Tavush Region.

“Doctors of the Berd hospital are fighting to save the life of Hovhannes Avanesyan,” spokesperson for the Defense Ministry Artsrun Hovhannisyan wrote on Facebook.

As reported earlier, the special divisions of the Azerbaijani army have launched an attack, on Friday at around 9am, in the direction of several military positions of the Berd area of Armenia’s Tavush Region, and, as a result, the Armenian side has suffered casualties. Lieutenant Karen Galstyan and Private Artak Sargsyan have died.
