YEREVAN. – The Armenian army continues its tradition of triumphs, Armenia National Assembly (NA) Speaker Galust Sahakyan stated Monday during the first session of the NA spring sitting.

Sahakyan noted the aforementioned commenting on the Azerbaijani armed forces’ most recent frequent ceasefire violations on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border and the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic-Azerbaijan Line of Contact.

“In honor to our army, we should note that our armed forces are continuing the tradition of triumphs by not solely responding to the adversary, but by taking preventive measures,” the Armenian parliament leader stressed.

Sadly, however, Armenian soldiers and officers have fallen as heroes while resisting against the acts of sabotage, Sahakyan also said, the Armenian News-NEWS.am’s parliamentary correspondent reported.
