YEREVAN. – Both Armenia and Ukraine are interested in deepening of economic ties, Ukraine's Ambassador to Armenia Ivan Kukhta said.

The sides are focused on development of economic ties, and relations are developing successfully, he told reporters on Monday.

In 2013 the trade turnover reached $223 million, although there was a certain reduction because of Ukrainian crisis.

Despite Armenia's accession to the Eurasian Union and Ukraine's signing of Association Agreement, Ambassador assured that relations will develop.

“Ukraine understands and respects Armenia's choice,” he emphasized.
