YEREVAN. – The Mayor of Yerevan, Taron Margaryan, chaired the regular session of the coordinating committee for organizing events in the Armenian capital city, and devoted to the centenary of the Armenian Genocide.

Considering the fact that numerous foreign delegations and thousands of guests are expected to arrive in Yerevan to attend the genocide commemoration events, Mayor Margaryan instructed those in charge to commence the upgrading works to ensure a proper view of the capital city.  

In addition, the mayor instructed to discuss the service schedules for the artistic events and marches slated for April 23 and 24, and ensuring the safety of the people.
