YEREVAN. – Armenian Deputy Finance Minister said he does not have additional information on detention of former MP Hakob Hakobyan.

Every person at the ministry has his duties, and we cannot be aware of everything, Deputy Minister Vakhtang Mirumyan told reporters.

“As you can see, I am dealing with tax legislation and draft reform. Deliberate tax evasion is unacceptable, but I do know details,” Mirumyan said.

Former MP Hakob Hakobyan was detained within criminal case of Finance Ministry's investigative department. He is suspected of tax evasion.
