YEREVAN. – Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received CSTO Secretary General Nikolay Bordyuzha in Yerevan on Wednesday.

Welcoming the guest, Minister Nalbandian noted that Armenia attaches importance to cooperation with CSTO that is a key element in providing security and continues consistent efforts aimed at strengthening collaboration with the organization.

During the meeting, they discussed implementation of the decisions made during the December meeting of the CSTO Collective Security Council.

CSTO chief expressed deep concern over latest tension on the line of contact and border between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Nikolay Bordyuzha reaffirmed support to peaceful resolution of the Karabakh conflict.

The sides touched upon preparation for the CSTO meetings planned in upcoming months.
