GYUMRI. – The Mayor of Gyumri, Samvel Balasanyan, on Thursday held a regular consultation meeting with the Russian military command in Armenia’s second largest city. Armenian News-NEWS.am learned the aforesaid from the Gyumri Municipality.

Within the framework of the matters that were discussed during the previous consultation, it had been decided to carry out relevant work to reduce the current tension and control the situation.

In this meeting, the persons in charge conferred on the respective actions that were taken, and the present-day situation.

The Russian side also presented several matters relating to enhanced internal disciplinary supervision.

Mayor Balasanyan, for his part, expressed willingness to assist in taking appropriate measures with respect to any matter.
