YEREVAN. – A change in power is the only way out of the current situation in Armenia.

Opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) National Assembly Faction member Lyudmila Sargsyan stated the aforementioned at Thursday’s conference organized by the non-pro-government Prosperous Armenia Party.

“I believe that the time of our clumsy authorities is up,” Sargsyan also said, and added that 300,000 people have left Armenia between 2008 and 2014, and due to the slump in the country’s economy.

The ANC MP also noted that the incumbent Armenian authorities have failed in domestic and foreign policy, alike.

“We need to return to the holding of rallies, [and] achieve [the conduct of] early elections and the formation of legitimate authorities,” Sargsyan stressed.
