Soldier Tigran Simonyan, 23, who had died in the line of duty on Tuesday evening, had lost his life as a result of violation of the rules of military watch.

We have learned that Simonyan was from Vanadzor, Armenia.

A case will be opened on this incident.

As reported earlier, military serviceman Tigran Simonyan (born in 1991) sustained a fatal gunshot wound on Tuesday at around 7:55pm. The soldier was mortally wounded in the line of duty of a protection area of a Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army unit, which is stationed in a northerly direction. An investigation is underway to find out the details of the incident.
