Florence Davies and Glenys Thomas, who are thought to be the world’s oldest identical twins, have passed away weeks apart at the age of 103 in great Britain, reported The Daily Mail-ը։

The pair were born in 1911 - the year before the Titanic sank - and the centenary sisters have lived through two world wars, the civil rights movement, and huge advances in technology and transport.

But in their lifetime they never left the small mining village of Abertridwr, Caerphilly, South Wales, where they lived next door to each other.

The twins built an interior door joining the two kitchens of their homes to make it easier to see each other, reported Gazeta.

Glenys passed away on April 23 and Florence died on May 20.
