During a charity auction, Georgian ballerina Nina (Nino) Ananiashvili sold her ballet shoes to help the victims of the flood that ravaged Tbilisi, reported Gruzia Online news agency of Georgia.

Ananiashvili’s ballet shoes were sold at the auction for 3,000 US dollars.

The devastating flood in Georgia’s capital city had occurred in the early morning hours of June 14, as heavy rains had caused the River Vere to burst its banks.
