The Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan, Zakir Hasanov, is inspecting the combat-readiness of the country’s army.

By the Azerbaijan president’s decree, inspections are conducted, the Azerbaijani media reported citing the press service of the country’s ministry of defense.

“Our objective is to check the overall condition of the soldiers and officers, [and] the combat-readiness of the military units,” explained the minister.  

Hasanov also did not miss the chance to boast and brag stating that “Armenia’s leadership is in fear” because “the time has come.”

The inspection continues along the border.
