YEREVAN. – Suspects in the mass infection of Hepatitis C in Armenia's Kajaran have been detained.

The investigation of a criminal case disclosed some facts, including the path of transmission of the disease.

On January 17 a call about several patients infected with Hepatitis C after surgeries in Kajaran's medical facility has been received.

On Tuesday deputy director tor of the medical center and former doctor of the medical facility have been detained on suspicion of violation of the sanitary norms.
